Public Toilet Network
We run the public toilets of Rhodes end to end: cleaning, supplies, repairs and safety, in squares, harbours, beaches and parks across the island.
For us, running public toilets is more than cleaning. It is a daily responsibility that affects life in the town and the first impression visitors take home from Rhodes.
A network across the island
We operate public toilets in key places: tourist areas, central squares, harbours, bus stops and parks. Each one is planned to be comfortable, safe and usable by everyone.
Every visit costs €0.50. The fee goes straight back into upkeep, renovation and good-quality supplies.
Three levels of cleaning
- Every day: cleaned up to three times a day, with bins emptied and paper and soap kept stocked.
- Every month: a deep clean and disinfection of every surface with certified products.
- Every year: a full technical service of plumbing, lights and fittings.
Independent quality checks
An outside hygiene consultant inspects our toilets regularly. We meet with our staff to go through every report and improve how we work.
Looking after them together
Public toilets belong to all of us. We work to prevent damage and graffiti, and we ask every visitor to leave the space ready for the next person.
